Subject: Any one have any luck with "talk" therapy?

Hi,
I was wondering what everyone's experiences have been with "talk" therapy. I have been in therapy for years (literally). It now comes out of my own pocket completely because I have exceeded the lifetime max levels for insurance coverage. I recieve the NAMI newsletter (which is VERY good, I suggest suscribing to it), and they talk about laws being worked on to change national mental health parity. The lifetime max is null if you belong in some cases to large group in your insurance coverage. Smaller groups, like mine, still have the max.

I look at therapy as having a good friend to talk to. Granted, a very expensive friend.

Any input would be appreciated.

Francie
