Donna,
I'm sorry you had that trigger that made you feel so bad.
The one thing for sure is I think everyone at this board and who suffers from depression knows just what a "trigger" is, so atleast you're not alone.
I can tell from your post that you're a very caring, kind person and I hope you have a better day today. You are continuing your own path to recovery and be sure to be proud of yourself for that. I am.
Triggers for me usually come from financial difficulties,
I tend to deal better with emotional issues than I do finances when those crises occur, but on occasion, like last night, I must have a strong subconscious.
I NEVER have to try and figure out what my dreams mean, I dream directly about past, present, and future events that convey my worst fears, the worst dreams are from the past where I dream about things that happened, but my dream state distorts them into even worse situations and I wake up feeling just awful. That happened last night and of course after a really good weekend. Now I have to try to find a way to shrug it off and go to work.
Isn't is amazing how good we can feel and one little thing just changes that and makes us upset all over again. Part of the depression beast I guess.
Please take care,
wishing you peace,
Bill
