Subject: Alot to handle right now

Well, guys and gals...yup, let it get too large to handle. Depression took hold and now I am fighting my way back. Have a docs appt. on Thurs. Hopefully that will help. I had to have a meeting with our HR department regarding all my sick leave over the past year...OMG...I have missed 23 days in this year alone...not good. Most of it has been because of my depression...but some of it were headaches, colds..other stuff..that just left me feeling so weak.

Anyway...have that to deal with and try to rectify...but I am not apologizing for being sick. How can I?

I also found out my little brother is going through depression. He is a rock...he has two beautiful kids a really kind wife and it just seems that he can't get a break. The jobs he gets don't last. He loves to cook and can't find steady work. So money problems are his main concern...and now depression...he has always been able to work things out...so now, I have to let him know that we all have a breaking point and he has got to go and see a doctor now...He sounded better last night, but I am still worried about him. Guys...they just have to be so tough all the time. Especially my brothers...they are such JOCKS. Gotta love them..but man, my siblings and I are so stubborn. : )

That and having money problems for the first time in my life. OMG...yuck...but I guess...live and learn and I have finally found out what my mom meant when she said "it won't last forever"....I always thought I would have a huge savings account to retire on..but that has been depleted over the past 2 years. Living and playing in the city is so expensive. If we go to a movie...as a couple is is about 30.00 if you count the popcorn and drinks...then if we take our daughter...add another 15...EWWWW...Even renting videos can be expensive. Oh well..Christmas shopping is almost done and I haven't even made any donations anywhere.

So, live, love and trying to laugh.

I will be on again, before the week is out.
