Hi Gem, you are right I think Christmas has lost its real meaning and has become a big what can I get theme. Things have just fallen apart for me this year, and I refuse to bring out any of the Christmas decorations. They just make me sad. I will be alone as I have many Christmases, why torture myself with all the memories the decorations bring back. I guess I am just a Grinch, but thats the way it is. I think I feel the human contact, to have caring people in your life is probably the best gift one can have.
