Subject: Prayer of st. francis of assesse

Spoke with Michele last night and she said something that broght to mind this prayer.

Lord make me an instrument of your peace
where there is hatred let me show love
where there is injury, pardon.
where there is doubt, faith
wheere there is despair, hope
where there is darkness, light
where there is sadness, joy

oh divine master grant that imay so much not seek to be consoled as to console
to be understood as to understand
to be loved as to love
for it is in the giving that we receive
it is in the pardoning that we are pardoned
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.\

(I also want to say that i pray (as iknow you all do) for our brothers and sisters that are going off to fight this evil in order that we may live in a safer world, free from the tyranny of Terrorism. I pray we bring to justice those who have committed this atrocity and that all others remain safe and unharmed. And i pray that our brothers and sisters some home to us as quickly as possible.
