Hey Jonathan, you're not alone! please keep in contact so that we know you're ok. I care what happens to you and i don't even know you :-)

I think we all need to have a gripe session now and again, though, so feel free to gripe!

as for the child with cancer, I can't even imagine...with a child that is. Cancer seems to be everywhere and it is my main source of stress right now, and hindering my recover I fear...my second sister-in-law is fighting cancer, her third in two years...my other sister-in-law lost her battle last year. what an awful disease. the sister-in-law that has it now is just 37 years old, with a two year old daughter...so when I talk to her, I feel guilty for griping about my depression as I know things could be so much worse. Not that depression isn't a valid illness, but I thank my lucky stars that I am not going through what she is...

In any event, Jonathan, griping is good...venting is good, crying is even good once in a while...but laughing is better! Did you know that laughing releases endorphins for a natural high? I could use some of that, let me tell you... :-)
