Subject: Yard sale sucked and a poem

I am depressed of late....and tired. My yard sale sucked. That's putting it mildly...people who said they come....never showed.....and vice-versa. I don't know why they bother telling me....they will.

Nothing.....in my life stands out....as wonderful...or anything anymore.....just an endless void of hurt and heart ache.

My poem.

Crushed

Crushed by one word.
With one steely look.
Like a thousand blows.
See my eyes?
In pain, my soul doth cry.
Who says, the soul is not alive?
