I'm so sorry Solie. I know that has to be really hard. No one can understand the way we mothers feel about our children unless they have children too. I can't imagine how hard that is. I know when something hurts Matthew, it hurts me too and I worry myself sick over it.

It sounds encouraging though that his employers know what's happening and are working to help him, as well as his girl friend. I'm sure addiction is a hard thing to control, but it sounds like he really wants to get better and with that determination he'll probably do well. I know you feel helpless but even though you don't live as close as you'd like, he knows you love him and that you're there if he needs you. That's so important.

We're all pulling for him. Keep us posted.
