Subject: Savor the Minor Victories

I already feel God's work in my life as I've given over the reins. I was really making a mess of things so now I'm just sitting back and enjoying the beautiful view.

I am making progress slowly but surely. I found out that someone doesn't like me. That would have thrown me into a tailspin befre wondering what was wrong with me. Taking everything personally. But now... I just think "well God Bless them" and let it go. Their opinion of me is insignificant and none of my business. I don't want everyone to be my friend any way cuz I prefer having the time to nurture the ones I have already. I am soo blessed.

This may sound silly to some of you but it is liberating. I am starting to feel good enough about myself to not let my self esteem be at the whim of other's acceptance. I have a ways to go. I can appreciate people and value them and love them so much more freely.

That doesn't mean I won't have a bad day I'm sure. But heck, I intend to appreciate the good ones to the full extent.
