First of all...{{{{[[[GEM]]]}}}}. One of the hardest things to come to terms with on the road to being "better", for me at least, was coming to the realization that not every day is roses and sunshine and that I can still have days where I feel like everything sucks but it really doesn't. So that really brings into focus the understanding that when a person is going through depression it begins to feel like being down is the "norm". I have a harder time in the winter than during the rest of the year. Last year I indulged in a membership at an indoor tanning salon...I could not afford that at all but it did something for me that helped keep me in check.

I don't know you very well gem but I do understand depression. I for one can say from the depths of my soul, do care, and I venture to say that if these folks that hang out around here are basically the same as they were when I was in need of a strong support network then they all care too.

Happy weekend Gem.... love Toni
