Subject: I'm doing everything I can

I'm trying to keep faith, although the job search has me really in a cautious, frightened mode here.
My car is breaking down, but luckily, I have just enough to fix it, but it'll be laid up tomorrow so I've been working hard online until I can get back out there on the employment scene.
I finished the temp agency screening, while I scored only halfway decent on computer programs and software, my data entry was exceptional and my speed typing peaked at 72 words per minute, among the highest scores seen I was told.
Tuesday WHEN HOPEFULLY I get my car back, I sign off on a job description and start checking in twice daily for possible job openings.
But I'm not resting just on that, I e-mailed my resume to a corporation here in Aiken with clerical/word processing department openings, I am calling an appliance manufacturing firm who offers training, they have openings in customer service and advertising, figured it couldn't hurt, I'm mailing a resume in for medical office receptionist, and I'm even going to place an ad for personal secretary/clerical and list my word processing and phone skills.
I'm even keeping an eye out for food service/custodial, right now it doesn't matter to me what takes me off the ground to get started.
Tuesday I also will go into the South Carolina Employment Security Commission AM to see what they can do.
the only two things I am not looking into are factory work for I do not have the dexterity or speed required of that nature, I tried it twice, it did not work out, or anything requiring lots of travel, I have to see what happens when my car returns.
So between online, the temp agency, my personal ad, and looking at the actual newspaper, I don't know what else I can do.
I'm telling you this because I know as time goes forward, I'm in danger of triggering into depression. I know so many people who don't want to work or try to take advantage of the system and all I want to do is work.
Surely SOMEONE out there will eventually listen!
I am trying my best.
Peace,
Bill
