It sure blew me out of my comfort zone.
I gave blood here at a temporary mobile bloodbank and then ended up being a volunteer for the 6 hours.
I went back today to volunteer and was there for 7 hours. The turnouts were incredible. Today 600 people had shown up by 4:30. Fast food places and restaurants were donating food and drinks all day long.
Tomorrow I am going home to Tampa. Jay is doing really good. Back to work, in counselling and putting in some new structures for himself and his life. It will take time, practice and will.
This weekend I am in a workshop called "journey to the heart". How appropriate that it just happens to be this weekend. I can't wait.
Don't know when i'll be able to check in next.
