I'm so very sorry for all of your pain. Thank you for trusting us enough to share part of your story with us.


I know the dynamics of a small town well from the ability to get good jobs to the judgments. I also know the other side of them where everyone shows up to help out with a death or a fire or some other disaster. It sounds to me like the library is a place where there is a group of very sick people together. (They tend to form such groups in small towns. They tend to be a diliberately sadistic and righteous group. Ours work in law enforcement.) Getting involved with such a group would test anyone's sanity. I'm glad that you are not working there. However, I want to strongly suggest that you move somewhere else. You are not getting a fair shake in the community. Rumors fly and thrive in small communities.

The next thing that I want to ask is does Berry treat you well?

You deserve good things Gem. You really do.
