Is there another town within reasonable driving distance that you could try to find a job in? Maybe somewhere where they wouldn't be so clannish? (sp?) Might be worth a shot.

I know it's difficult not knowing anyone. I'm going through that now. People are friendly when you see them in stores, etc, but you don't get to know them that way. My job is such that I don't work with someone everyday, which might actually be a blessing...less gossip, etc.

I have met a couple people through Matt's school, other mothers who are picking up their kids and mothers of some of the kids that live in this apartment complex. Then again, I don't need a whole lot of friends because after working all day, I'm not really in the mood to have to do much, but I do want a couple friends to hang out with on weekends some.

I really hope things get better. I wish you could find a really good job that you like and friends to go with it.

Take care,
Love,
Sandy
