I did not go... I wanted to... but something inside kept me from going. Like my wife's father, I will probably die, not knowing who he ever was. I shall try again... unlike my wife; they are not yet dead. There is always hope. If I do not try, I can not rest or concede in failure. My parents will not try... so it's up to the kids to end the cycle or we shall carry the pain onwards to the generations in the future! As Picard on the Enterprise once stated, "The line must be drawn here! No further!" I have not learned to quit... or have I?
