I know that with younger people, some instances are from poor parenting along with those people who just really would rather not work, work isn't easy for any of us, we all have our stress and B.S. sources to deal with. Guess it varies with people on explanations of their work ethics.
Guess I'm just also really passionate about this because I've been working full time, overtime, and also looking for work in South Carolina, preparing and sending out resumes, cover letters, filling out applications online, and you know what?? I spoke tonight with a financial advisor, he forewarned me the job market for higher level jobs is TOUGH, companies downsizing, considering downsizing, people holding onto good jobs more. And you know something else? I know full well even at near 40 years old, I might very well end up a custodian, dishwasher, or a busboy sweating my tail off while cleaning tables while trying to update my computer skills with further education or just continuing to knock on the higher doors once I get to South Carolina if the online efforts fall through.
I don't know, guess it's just the survival instinct in me. I have to be careful, sometimes I feel I'm surviving, but not enjoying life.
But I'm determined to do what I have to do and don't have patience for overt lazy people I guess when I'm trying so hard to make things right for myself.
Thanks for listening,
Bill
