Yes, there is gnomes. But they are a direct rip-off of the Gnomes in Dragonlance (they weren't called gnomes, but something else, that I don't remember).

The questsystem? EQ carbon copy. The PvE? EQ carbon copy.
Graphics? Yes, very original. How much does graphics mean for a game? Very little in the long run.

There is barely anything original to WoW. It is a frankenstein monster of parts taken from every MMORPG out there, and for lore, the fantasy lore that has been written since Tolkien. It is very pretty, and game mechanics are fluent and good at some levels. But that is about it.

PvP is a joke.
