what a question dario! of course I am in, I live about 10 mins from the oktoberfest ;-)

the hacker tent in which onnes got the table is one of my 2 favourites - very sweet girls and good party!! so he definitely chose the right one.

the table is from 12 - 17.45, however, which means we have 2 possibilities:

a) get to the oktoberfest at about 11 a.m. and hope that we get inside the tent (problem is that tents are being closed when full which normally happens at about 10 - 11 a.m. on a saturday. with a reservation there might be a chance to still get in after its closed but thats not guaranteed). when we get our table then, we probably wont get another, so maybe 11 - 12 persons on a 10 person table.
plus we will be thrown off the table at 17.45h by our successors (tents open till 11 p.m.) and have a hard time to find another one at that time. but its still possible.

b) get out there at about 9 a.m. when the tents open and get us 1 extra table near our reservation so we have 2 tables and can be sure that we still have a seat after 17.45h when the booked table is gone.
additionally, you dont get new beer if you havent got a table. so its advisable to have at least 1 table where people can get themselves a new beer (even if were more than 10, there can be 10 at the table and a few standing close to it).

some other things to say:

the 25. is the 2nd weekend which is normally the fullest of all as all the italians come to munich on that weekend normally. so it WILL be full and we have to get out early.
however, it will be very funny too ;-)

if youre inside a tent on a saturday, you dont leave it again ( e.g. to have a look at all the attractions) as there will be no possibility to get inside again on weekends).
so if you could manage to get 1 free weekday like monday / thursday on that weekend would be really nice - then we will have time to take a look at the whole oktoberfest without having in mind that we might not get into a tent again later :-) its simply not that full during the week, so to get an impression of a) a massive beer party day or 2 on friday/saturday and b) of the whole festival itself on a third / fourth day.

I can manage to give room for 3 persons to sleep at my place.
maybe more if needed, Im gonna check my brother ;-)
