Subject: a new stunning subject: oktoberfest ;-)

okay guys I already pointed the important things out in my previous post.

I say we take the weekend that was already proposed - the one around the 25th of sept.

the best way in my opinion would be that you guys try to come on thursday the 22nd by evening. then we could go to a bar or something on thursday and have a nice start evening, then get enough rest in the night for the following day.
and on friday we should start at midday (which is a must if we want to get one of the not-pre-reservable-tables) after some nice sleep, go out to the festival and get ourselves a table. this way we had a nice party day.

on saturday, we have two possibilities - either go out at 10.30h to get our table and try our luck at 17.45h when we have to leave it again, to get another one (a hard job on a saturday but still managable) or we try to get out to the festival at about 9am to get ourselves another, not reserved table that we can keep for the whole day.

the second possibility, however, might be a hard job as the friday might be long party ;-) but I would say we try to get out to the fest as early as we can manage, at least before 11.00am to get our table for sure.

the sunday should be sufficient time to have a look over the festival, as we will have had enough party after 2 weekend days of wiesn ;-) so Id say you fly back home on sunday evening, so that we have enough time to get sober, have a few hours to see the festival and then get you guys to the airport again.

there is room for 3 at my place, (max. 4, 1 on sofa, 3 who dont care about sleeping on the ground) and I think onnes said he has room for 3 as well (but I will contact him asap to check). so you guys decide now who sleeps at which place. the early bird catches the worm ;-)

if I got it right, widower is sleeping at a hotel? what about deus and parker? will they come with you? or will they need room to sleep as well and come with the danish guys?

so once again, my suggested flight time for you guys would be from thursday, the 22nd, evening, to sunday, the 25th, evening.
if you cant make it before friday at about 12h / midday, then you will trouble to get into a tent, and the friday party might be spoiled for you - and, to be honest, I dont want to wait at my home for guys arriving at afternoon / evening on friday and then not get into the tent myself and those who already arrived on thursday.
so if you cant make it before that, you probably have to spend friday evening on your own and meet us laters (the tents close at 11pm, there wont be any more beer from 10pm, but from about 9pm on the tents are open again I guess so you could join us then). still you will have a nice saturday party and a sunday to get a feeling of how big the festival is...

but there is no sense in arriving on saturday IMO. you WONT be able to get into a tent after 11am at the latest, and the rest of the crew is prolley not up for a big party day on sunday again. so you would have to spend whole saturday on your own...
