Yo, dud3;

That sh1t 1s poss1bl3 and 1'm th3 man w1th the mast3r plan. u s33, s1nc3 bl00dsuckas h3al w/o med1c1ne, they th1nk they dont need doctas. They're wrong.

How are you so sure? Have you ever visited a physician trained in dermatology who also specializes in anatomica vampirica? Probably not because I'm the only one out there. No one has pioneered vampiric medicine because no one sees a need for it. If necessity is the mother of invention, then it's obvious why no vampire has bothered to develop medical skills - you just pour some blood in them and they're fine. But what about the things blood can't do?

The Japanese daimyos didn't give their soldiers guns because they felt that the more elegant katana was all the weapon a warrior needed to fight bandits and other bushi. This was fine and good until Admiral Perry cruised into the harbor with a bunch of guns and kicked their asses.

Well, I believe I can move past that. I won't fall into the trap that so many others have. I don't need to be brilliant, the fact that I'm attempting medecine at all is revolutionary. The fact that I am indeed brilliant is a small bonus.

So tell me honestly, what have you to lose? If I don't succeed, then you won't need to keep your half of the bargain and you will have lost nothing but a few hours time. If I do succeed, then we both come out ahead. I don't know your political leanings, but Jan saw enough credibility in my work to warrant a position as personal physician. You might regret not trying it, but I doubt you'll ever regret giving it a shot.

Cliff
