As we understand it, the war was organized and run by Jan and the Archons who support him; naturally, they were in the city at the time. There was also a planning council of elders, mostly those who immediately afterward entered the city.

The planning council consisted of Isabella Alberti, Winter, Angel, Friedrich Hoffenberg, Oliver Blackwell, Talbot Fortner, Julia d'Anjou, and Jack Grady. Jan was its nominal leader, but in reality the council had quite an independent voice. Given voting patterns, we believe Isabella and Julia to be regular supporters of Jan. Angel, Oliver and Jack seemed open to any political position, while Friedrich, Winter and Talbot generally made up the opposition. Of course, later events have shown that these positions may have been deliberately disgusing their actual political beliefs, especially in the case of Oliver Blackwell.

The council and Jan together appointed three leaders to coordinate the actual fighting: Julia d'Anjou, Klaus von Brauer, and Alice Haverford. Xu Chen served as a liaison to Mobea, the Nosferatu provided intelligence, Zero of the Tremere organized computer support, and Dorothy Brodin was able to bring in several conventional military units for assistance. Of this group, only the first three actually participated in the fighting, and all were severely wounded at various points (though Alice most severely). The Nosferatu believe they were deliberately repaid with political positions for their zeal.

Under each of these three leaders were four assault teams, made up of a leader, a few more experienced Kindred, and a number of soldiers such as your friends were.

The surviving team leaders are Jacob Mills, Anastasia Petrovna, Vito Leone, Alice Haverford, Melanie Caldwell, Klaus von Brauer, Shrike, Julia d'Anjou, and James Abbott. Grant Wilkins died, under circumstances I am sure you are familiar with, and Annie Broom was lost with her entire team. Dimitrios and Faida each led a team as well, though they did not fall under the direct control of the three military leaders.

The surviving experienced Kindred who fought were: Richard Mason, Raymond Chinta, Adriana Stanek, Stanislaw, Rosa Garcia, Gabriela Prieto, a number of Nosferatu, William Pitt, Michael Clay, Sanchez, Max Seitz, Clarence Walker, Vassily Tcheryenko, and David Lee.

The number of dead among this group is too great to list here -- there were over thirty lost, including your friends Teri and Alexis.

There were also quite a number of people who were in the training camps, as you were. Elena Oliviera was embraced just before this group, but was personally trained by Julia. The other members of it are Gili Shoshan, Armand Hill, Buddy Olsen, Kate Bradford, Anna Fernandez, Ed Ramirez, Rudy Dambrose, Slant, and your friends Christian Parker and Ethan Cypress. We also believe Ari Lefkowitz to still survive, but the Tremere seem to be keeping him close in the Chantry.

The dead in this group numbered well over eighty, so while we can provide you with a list, I am not certain it would be useful.

If there is further information you wish, please contact me directly, as Stavros is quite a busy man. Additionally, if you wish to share this information outside your coterie, we expect a corresponding price -- either in debt or information -- from you or whoever you share it with. However, this information is common enough that we are willing for you to share it with those who may help you in your quest.

The Nosferatu wish you luck.
