In defense of the STs, they have been in Spain for the last couple of weeks, and hence have not been able to update the sight. I'm staying in her apartment, feeding her cat so she doesn't get hungry and reading her books so that they don't get lonely.
To sum up, the sabbat attacked NY again, and most of the elders, not surprisingly, didn't help out in the fight. A lot of the younger vampires died. I wasn't there, so I can't give you an exact list, but I know that Alice was given a grievious wound and fell into the river, and no one has seen her since. Elena was kidnapped but is being used as leverage to keep Julia from doing anything to fight the Sabbat, although we suspect that this is more to make Jan look wead than to actually do anything for the Sabbat.
Blackwell is making his move. He challenged Jan on the point that he still hasn't brought down Mobea, and claimed that he could do so himself. We all ran to SI to warm her (actually Parker ran to warn her, and I followed to keep Parker from getting killd). Blackwell has apparently sold his soul to the Tremere, because he showed up shortly thereafter with the entire clan to back him up. The Coterie actually lasted 11 rounds, but some weirdo magic caused Mobea to lose her powers and she was abducted. I was the last man standing on our side, Parker being in torpor and hannah being staked (I think), and the Tremere goons were coming after us when I scooped everyone up and ran like hell for the river, where I waded in with a coterie member on each shoulder and started walking towards Manhattan.
Yes, I got to stake Ari.
So this supposedly is concluding the first major third of the game arc, and the second arc will start with the three of us rising from the murky waters and sloshing our way towards the Battery.
This is also while the board activity has been nill. If we had taken a month long break during downtime, we could have done all kinds of crazy talking and scheming and stuff, but since I'm the only PC who's conscious right now, it kind of limits our options.
As for OOC news, Chris and Jess are madly happy sightseeing and getting their toes sucked in Barcelona. Anthony just quit his Wall Street internship, which mostly consisted of opening mail and emptying waste baskets, and is getting ready to move back to the Bronx. Joe and Dawn are as adorable as ever, and Joe has gotten a job feeding his soul to some rich Ventrue in midtown. I've gotten three steady gigs lined up, all of which happen to be church music, oddly enough, but it is allowing me some fiscal freedom, and I might even be getting my own apartment sometime soon.
We're going to be adding to new characters to the game, Rob and Rich, both of whom are very cool but I can never keep them straight. One (or both) of them is a visual art major at Parsons. One (or both) of them has played lots and lots of vampire and knows the rules pretty well, which will be nice change of climate for the rest of us. One (or both) of them has a job working in the nursing department of NYU's Steinhardt School of Education. And one (or both) of them is very cool with a delightful sense of humor. I think they're going to add a lot.
So how's Hollywood? Are you having fun? Are you tanned? Are you finding work? Are you planning on hitting the East Coast anytime soon?
