 ...especially since we don't KNOW anything anyway. I agree that our dealings with him should be kept quiet but don't forget that people are really REALLY afraid of him. He frickin' intimidated his way into the city. Now, we shouldn't start throwing his name around, but, if someone is being uncooperative I don't think it would be such a bad idea to mention Nichodemus. Since nobody knows anything about him no one will be able to contradict our relationship with him.

that is of course if we aren't dumb. smart people don't have to start whispering the names of elders to prevent being nailed to a wall.
