Gina! Happy Easter to you too! And, in my family we like to eat the ears off of an Easter Bunny cake. He's a tradition lol. You take 2 9-inch layer cakes one of them is the face, the other you cut accordingly to make ears and the middle piece where you cut away the ears becomes his bowtie. My mother made one every year as I was growing up, and I've made one every year since my children were old enough to drool on it lol. (ok they didn't really drool on anyone else's piece but their own) I took my kids to see the Easter Bunny and had their picture made. My son is smiling and hugging the Bunny, my daughter is bawling and looking at me like, "why did you make me sit in this weirdo's lap get me the heck outta here woman!" Anyway I hope, Gina, that you have a very Happy Easter next weekend as well! Same goes to the rest of ya! For me Easter is a time to celebrate Christ's resurrection. For my kids that don't understand that yet, it's a time to go to mom-mom and d-dad's (my parents lol) house and hunt for easter eggs that are filled with candy and money. I'd love to hear how everyone celebrates this kind of holiday. So if anyone wants to take the time to share, I'd love to read!
