First of all, I'd like to say that I am rather shocked at some of the members.Disagreeing is ok, but bringing religion into it? Thats just awful.Ok, here is detailed explanation of what I think:
The rules for swearing are MILD swearing.Nothing bad, mild.NO swearing at other members.NO swearing every other word.The reason Shayla, Jenny & I think this is ok, is because, first of all, this game is targeted toward teenagers, not little kids.If your on the internet, your parents trust that you will know whats right & wrong.If you don't want to hear any mild swearing what so ever, then you shouldn't be in any sort of chat board that is targeted toward teenagers.This rule is not to encourage people to swear, but just let people know that it IS ok.Not to mention, that were getting new message boards which can block any bad swear words.Any words that are bad & not allowed are blocked on there, ok? Heres my list of what swear words are acceptable: hell, damn, shit.& I mean those words alon, no adding anything else.It is MUCH preferable that you star the whole word, or part of it.Another reason for this rule, is that perhaps a good, active member accidently swears.according to the old rules, they would most likely be banned.I don't want that happening.Also, no one should swear lightly.If you feel like you HAVE to swear, then you can if its mild, but don't swear lightly.the f-word is NOT allowed, even starred.I know I haven't put in an opinion till now, but I decided that it is high time to set some things straight.Kyley, not swearing was never in the ten commandments God wrote, so its not like its outlawed to swear.As for what you said to Shayla, That was VERY mean.From now on, members are not allowed to bring religion up unless its a question, or has something to do with a holdiday.Now if you want to know, I am a baptised Christian, However, about a year ago, my views on God changed, & I decided that in my opinion I don't believe in God.Lots of people don't, just like me because there is no scientific evidence.I'm the type who has to see it to believe it.But, i do believe in the ten commandments.Not the story, but that you should follow them, as they are the law in America, & are good rules to follow as it is.Now, you have my views on this subject.Please do not yell at me for what I think.This is just my opinion.... I'm migh write more later, but right now I have to go.
