Bill, I worked as a comp and later doing some operating in
small shops and later at News Ltd. in Sydney. I had my own business at one time with a model 15 Linotype, hand set and
a Heidelberg Platen and High Speed Miller presses.
I was out of the trade for 25 years and went nursing and now
semi-retired and have helped set up the print shop at our local Gulgong Pioneers Museum. We have a Model 48 Linotype
and a C3 and C4 Intertypes plus 2 Ludlows and founts for all machines plus an Elrod with moulds. Still some work to get some of these machines operating. Plus I am also getting the press room organised as well. I am enjoying this trip back in time. Arthur Johnson at Gulgong NSW Australia.
