hi laurie, don't know if i have any info you don't but i too am related, although indirectly, to ottmar- great uncle on my mother's side. i am more familiar with the children and granddaughter of ottmar. i read a previous message above from 'becky brian'? who is also related to the mergenthalers. are you related thru one of ottmar's brothers? i was under the impression that all of ottmar's direct descendants have since passed on. most recently was his only grandaughter, nancy perkins, just a year or so ago whose mother, pauline, was ottmar's only daughter. his sons, i thought, only yielded one son who died heroically in WW2. if you'd like to chat please email me as i do not get into this section online very often. loved to hear from you. sally (moonjohn@lycos.com)
