Greetings from New Zealand,
During my employment with The Courier-Mail in Brisbane,
I found a piece-work operator who had the disgusting habit
of saving his fag ends at the end of his keyboard tray.
During his meal break he would unpick the fag ends and roll
additional cigarettes from the salvaged tobacco. He was a mean and grumpy old sod and as you can imagine the keyboard
was clogged with cigarette ash. One night I happened to be working behind his machine with the compressed air hose and in a weak moment I put the hose up under the keyboard and
gave it full blast. The animation was really spectacular but
I am afraid it did nothing to cure the habit
