I stumbled onto this site by accident . . and I'm glad I did . . although why I was sent here when all I asked of Jeeves was: Where can I find photos of women with large breasts? really is beyond my comprehension. Divine intervention perhaps.

Anywaysup, I was at the Poly in the mid-seventies, and Cyril was the guy who had the unenviable task of whipping us into qualified journeymen. If memory serves me well, he was a terrific bloke with a real knowledge and 'feel' for our chosen trade.

Before my time at the Poly on Oxford Road, I also attended at a place opposite Granada Studios for a short while and then at Fielden Park in Didsbury. Happy happy days.

OK, if anybody reads this and remembers my name, get in touch with me at MikeOShea3154@aol.com, I wouldn't mind meeting up with some of the boys again and taking a nostalgia trip.

During my college years I worked at Rawsons the Printers and Richard Bates, after which I was at Thomas Hooley Ltd in Stockport, then the Stockport Express and I eventually ended up at Thomson House on Withy Grove . . . Daily and Sunday Mirror and Daily Telegraph and the Sporting Chronicle and the News of the World. Christ, I only have to think of those names and a hundred different stories enter my head . . . mostly unfit for publication on here.

Like I said . . . get in touch.
