Subject: Net wave, gave the door a hard tug.
In reply to: Perceptor 's message, ""I think we have one of them! But only one!"" on 06:04:06 04/21/02 Sun

As she was pulling at the door the first pictures from Vent streamed into her eyes. She had just seen the enialation of a large portion of the Cyberton Navey. For a second she thought of her pod brother Mantis, who had last been seen working for the Navey. Was he one of the new dead as well? She shoved the thought in the back of her mind and pulled even harder at the door, and managed to slip in. The building shook from the effects of the space battle, but Netwave tried despreatly not to think of it.

The AOD had always made her believe that less involment of goverment affairs was good. As a Spy she had learned that the only way to keep on top of the heap was to learn everything about everyone else and use it to her advantage. She came down though the door and heard voices below. When she peered around the corner, her spark jumped to her thoat.

There were the council members, bots that, when she was younger, she regared with such admiration even the great Unicron could not shake her faith in those in power. Yet, after seeing what she had in the Sol System, how the goverment really worked, she felt betrayed and disgusted by them. This was truely a bittersweet moment for her, for here was the Council, the Congress to the Senate, and there, standing near Cattie's Cacoon was the bot she looked up to the most. Perceptor.

As a young bot she learned every invention that he came up with, every speech of his she had memorized. And now as she watched him she realized why she had considered him the best Autobot above all.

But now wasn't the time to get nostalgic, she chidded herself and once more went into cloak mode to slip up to the cacoon. That was when she heard Perceptor say, "What the deuce is going on out there?" and couldn't stop herself from saying,in a shrill voice, "There's an invasion attacking Cybertron.

In one quick instant she had blown her chances of getting in and out without being noticed. Realizing that Prowl was looking right at her, she turned off the cloak and looked at the council. Now, as she stood before them, she was nolonger Netwave, Superspy of the AOD, she was Netwave, youthful Maximal who was a great admirer of Perceptor.

She swallowed hard, and said in a clearer voice, "The Senators are right now viewing a space battle in their Meeting Hall. It seemes that there is an invasion headed for Cybertron. The sky is all green, it's from a laser. That's what is shaking the building."

She looked at the group, and waited to see what was going to happen next. She was nervous beyond belief, but she hopped that they wouldn't consider her a spy of the enemy.
