 Guy, I would hold off on buying a new cassette deck. I am close to releasing software to permit controlling the Pianocorder from a Windows PC or laptop via the popular WINAMP media player. This solution allows you to play both the original Marantz tapes as well as any MIDI file or Yamaha ESEQ (Disklavier) file. It works far better than the old "MID2PC" DOS program I released in the mid-1990s. The WINAMP plugin will be priced at $150.00 and can be installed for evaluation free of charge.

Several forum members are already controlling their Pianocorders via WINAMP with great results so far.

I'm not accepting further beta testers, but I will post additional details on how to obtain this software within the next few weeks.
