Date Posted: 09:05:31 11/22/03 Sat In reply to: Tom Lear 's message, "Pianocorder updated -- Winamp can now play your Pianocorder!" on 18:44:55 11/21/03 Fri I concur with Tom's enthusiasm for Mark Fontana's Winamp plug-in. It's amazing! I had trouble getting a cassette adapter to work properly with my old 386SX computer and its rather poor sound hardware. I developed a very simple circuit which interfaces directly with the optical isolator in the playback board. A .wav file is converted to clean, almost-square waves. (Are square waves unhip?) You can even make new tapes on your vorsetzer if the tape mechanism still functions! Details will be supplied on request. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
