There are only the two adjustments for bass and treble intensity which you have already tried.

My only thought is that your piano might be out of regulation; that it might require more force to play the lowest notes. This would be a mechanical problem rather than an electronic one.

The Pianocorder was designed to emulate expressive players made by DuoArt and by Ampico. (They each split the keyboard into two groups of notes, although at differing notes.)
