Date Posted: 21:05:09 02/23/05 Wed My pianocorder is acting up. My test cassette will play near perfect at first. Loading pre-recorded music will typically start OK., but after about 60 seconds, sounds a few extra bass notes. By 3 minutes, it is playing many extra notes, sounding terrible. At 5 minutes, improves. At 6 minutes will sound nice, even at reduced tempo. At 10 min. today still sounded good, then music went bad, many doubled notes. At slower tempo it missed some notes, fine tune light flashed intermittently. At mid tempo it made many extra notes, especially bass, but light stayed off. Tried test cassette again, many notes duplicating a note 4 keys down. Usually acts about same if tried another day, starting out OK. The pre-recorded music and the test cassette both worked OK when tried on another pianocorder. Does any one have a helpful sugestion? The trained local servicemen have left town.
