Subject: Beautiful 1910 upright piano with pianocorder for sale in SF Bay area

[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 16:07:05 11/16/01 Fri We have a beautifully restored 1910 Rembrandt upright piano (with the original soundboard intact!)with the P-100 reproducing Pianocorder, that we purchased in the early eighties. It has a glass see-through panel that can be lit and by which you can watch the keys play. It also has a lever to change the keys to play like a harpsicord(?), which is especially fun to play something like the Dueling Banjos tape while changing the sound accordingly, or for honky tonk jazz. We only have approximately 5 volumes of cassettes, but are really glad to see the new technology to give new life to this wonderful Pianocorder piano. We live in the San Francisco Bay area & have to downsize now, and only want to sell it to someone who would really appreciate its unique capabilities. Is there any interest out there? We have listed it on eBay, and advertised in the papers, but have never received any responses, as we think most people don't know what a Pianocorder is. We would also appreciate any estimate of value. We just now discovered this great forum through Google, and want to thank everyone for the useful information available here.
