Obviously, I can't place a customisable plot or anything, because I don't have the AOS client yet. But I was able to get in and move around, and play with the house placement tool. Now I'm sharing this information and pictures here for those of you that want to try and place, so you have a better chance at it. Being familiar with the house tool and the placement rules will definitely help you out.

Number one - for all of you former IDOC’ers, walking on someone steps before someone clicks "okay" WILL NOT cancel house placement anymore. I just did it with my own house on TC, and it still placed just fine. So don't try using that on someone to prevent them from getting a certain location, because it won't work.

House placement tools are blessed! Check this out:

So anyone wanting to try and place in Felucca won't have to worry about people stealing their placement tools (just like you couldn't steal deeds in the past).

House placement tools only cost 627gp.
Pretty cheap, but you aren't paying for the deed or the land - yet.

Here's the main menu on the placement tool.
Note: Castles and keeps are still on the classic houses menu.

Here's a peek at the classic house menu.
This is only the first page. There are three pages.

Outside of Moonglow I found a spot for a large marble, and plopped one down.
This is the message I got.

Shortly after placing it, I demolished it.
I figured there was no point in keeping a house on the test server.
This is the message I got when I selected the demolish option.

This is what happened to the money for the house when I demolished it.
Note: I originally paid 160K when I first placed the house.
So demolishing a house will cost you a percentage of the price you paid when you placed it.
