To add my two gp into the pot on the proposed alliance with Clan Fianna.

The differences between the two guild's are many in my humble opinion it is these very differences that would make any alliance unsteady from the start.

I can only speak for myself, I would not vote for this as I am more than happy with the way my guild is run, (for want of a better word), I like what we do and the way we do things. I have many that I would call good friends even though we have never met, these same ppl are what makes Defenders of Darkstone special to me.

I would not like this to change not because I am against change but "If it ain't broke don't fix it".
As others have said an alliance through ORPA and the events they organise, is fine anything over and above that is unnecesary at this point in time.

An offer of alliance is just that an "offer", not something that should be pushed or forced. It will be accepted or decilined according to the wishes of the members.
