Synergy, it is always sad to hear when a player who has dedicated so much time and effort to a guild feels the need to step away from UO, either for a short time or permanently.
I have not had the honour or privilege to get to know you well in game, and it is only from Ka Null's post that I now know you are the same person I knew as Rosie in The Northern Rangers.
The Faithful have always enjoyed a close friendship with The Northern Rangers first and now with the Defenders, and I can say I will be sorry to see you go.
I know from personal experience that a step away from UO, some times for an extended period, can be necessary, to re-focus and regain perspective. Each time I step I away, I always feel drawn back, not to the game so much, but to the people. To the friendships forged during our shared times in Britannia. That, I feel, is the Essence of UO.
For advice I wish to offer only this, take some time away, pursue some other interests, but don't close the door completely. Your friends will be there to welcome you back with open arms when you choose to return.
I wish you the best of luck in whatever decide.
Humbly and in Friendship,
Kaladarn
Magistrati of Azuth
The Faithful, T*F
