Tis with many sad tidings that i finally catch up with all that has happened over the last few months.
It seems that many among us have departed. Myself included! But for all those interested i have not departed i have been training my skills in the way of the ancient samurai (OOC in real life i do 55 hours a week work, 4 dayrs a week training martial arts and now 3 days a week at the gym, so as you could imagine my UO life is pretty limited at the moment)
It brings a tear to my eye that so many have departed the world of UO, especially Syn!!! Syn, the one that i would follow anywhere to achieve anything, the one that before anyone esle embrassed me as a member of the DoD family, the one, to be honest, i am still a member of DoD becuase of her even though i have little to do with DoD at the moment (OOC ask Darrien as i was the GM a a potenital big elven guild but i have no time to a be a GM of any big guild)) yet here i am every week, trying to find time to play the game of UO (even though at the moment i cant seem to achieve it) so as i can be a part of DoD, even thoug i love playing an Elf! The one thing i ask of all members as i can imagine that most are heading down the same path as myself is that we keep DoD togehter in some way or form once SWG is among us as i plan on being one of the few Jedi Masters among the Australian Commmunity (ask those that i play with and they will say that my game style will generally suggest that i have as good a chance as any to become the fabled Jedi, and i promise you this, if i do become Jedi, i will take any member of DoD over anyone else to become my apprentice as i have had a generall apreciation of any one involved in the DoD community. It seems to me that UO in Austalia is fast drawing to a close with the impending release of SWG! Dont get me wring as i hope i am in correct but none the less , i think the UO has run its course for most people. AS it seems to be the case iwht most pople posting on this website, but i ask this. Can DoD survive in the world of SWG? Personally i think so as the bases if UO has the underlying factor of mateship!!! And my personal eperience and preference is that SWG shall bring the force once more to those that have never achieved it!
