Able, Dredd, Lone and the man behind that crusty tough facade. I am lost for words - many others have said nice things about you, did they really know you(only joking of course).
The words of a particular song keep buzzing round in my head as i read your post and that of others that have gone before, "You can check out anytime you like, but you can NEVER leave".
I hope that rings true for you, you old buzzard.
In all the time i have lived in the UO world i haven't laughed as much as i have with you, you've had me in tears of laughter more than once, my greatest wish is that one day you will return. Tis such a strange thing this game and how it gets you. Not the game itself but the silly buggers you become attached to like yourself. I have never met you Able in rl but i'm sure if i did we would go of and share a beer and a smoke and laugh about life and the hand we have been dealt.

Even though you might not agree we are very much alike and that in itself can be scarry at times. To see yourself in another can be a little to close to the truth.

Above all else I DO HOPE that you will not vanish forever because mate its people like you that make life special.
like the peas and the weed spray, and the fire hydrant, and the many other things that made you YOU.

I wish you well but hope that you will come back soon and piss us off, and make us laugh some more.

What a roller coaster these last few weeks have been for us all. I know why you left without saying a word because i can relate to that, it is something that hurts to much.

You may have gone but you will stay in our hearts and curses for a long long time. Dont stay away to long is all I ask.

Take care of yourself.
