I have only known Syn/Rosie for a short time, however she's always struck me as a happy-go-lucky type lass with a fierce dedication to DoD.

I've recently been involved in sorting out trouble that arose in TDR partly due to their involvement with C'F, and it saddens me to learn that similar problems have arose here.

I've read every post in this thread (and there's a few here now!) and it's the unanimous show of love and support for Syn that truely testifies to her nature.... not the words of someone known for having an inflated opinion of their own importance.

As for friends leaving the realm.... anyone who plays UO for a while will see remarkable people come and go - I can attest to it as every last one of my original friends in the realm have moved on! Thinking on it does have a tinge of sadness, however then you remember how we used to run like fools posessed at the site of an orc mage near Yew and then you cant help but smile :)

I'm sure you too have similar memories of your friends that are now lost to the realm... but the thing to remember is that there are sooooo many others playing the game that you're bound to form new friendships if you allow yourself to. Sure, you're not likely to find yourself running from orc mages with these new friends.... but judging from these posts and my few experiences with DoD I'm sure trouble, adventure and excitement wouldn't be too hard to find!

DoD are a great bunch - and they love you. Have a great break.... and if you do find yourself returning after your sojourn then be sure to call the Night's Watch over for your return party!!!

Regards,
Moriath, Lord Commander
