Hail Friends

I thought I might just pop in and pay my respects :P
A special thanks to Lockie, Inferno, Ch'Tak (the names I recognize here :P) and any other i forget for joining in with us on the hunt your help was much appreciated...ill be looking forward to future Hunts/Activities with the DoD

On the topic here i must say the solution Lockie suggested is a very good one its one I’ve used quite a lot in my time and i think i have mastered it to 99% success and i have managed to accomplish this even with the presents of Lut grievers too :P just like to add some tips...

For MAGE
Before you Die:
1) Make sure you have a rune to somewhere “safest place” near the location you were fighting ether on you or locked down at your house rune books
2) Beside the things your wearing make sure all the rest of your stuff are placed within bags... so when you want to loot your corpse it will be heaps faster than trying to pickup every pot or small thing in your main bag…

Retrieving equipment after Death:

1) Recall to Stable for another mount/if you got ethreal mount even better :P
(I prefer to recall straight to Delucia because the bank and stable are so close)
2) Cast "Reactivate Armour" as my mage is also a GM scribe that makes this spell 1/3 more powerful for me :P
3) You most likely to outrun any monster to your corpse on a mount... but in case you corpse is being guarded by a large group of monsters positioned by a griever "Lut" or whoever
"Pre-Cast Invisibility" and run smack right into them positioning yourself over your corpse and let the invisibility spell take effect...
Pick up your bags first and then put on your leather :P
4) If its safe to run off do that...if there are too many and you dont think you make it... while your still invisible cast recall usually takes a moment or two for monsters to target and attack you enough for your spell to be completed (worst case you might take one hit but highly unlikely to kill you through RA and full HP

For Warrior
Warriors on the other hand have a much harder time at this than mages... which is why 4 out of 5 characters i have in OC are GM Mages only 1 is a warrior :P

Before you Die: Same as Mage

Retrieving equipment after Death:
Re-equip at bank and get mount from stable (its going to be hard to recall more than two places because mana regeneration is slow and you haven’t got much time to get back...)
Once you get back to your corpse and see its being guarded by monsters due to grievers the only thing I know is to get them all to Target you... "Don’t click attack on them if they are spell casters" big mistake...
Then lure them away how far depends on how long you have before your corpse goes to bones...
Run back dodging them as much as possible and use bandages
(Note grievers will be doing all they can to lure monsters back) so swoop by your corpse pickup the bags and magic weapon you using hehehe... and if you got time before monster is on to of you, pickup your Armour... if not just leave it, its not worth losing everything

And now for my FAMOUS tip for both mage and warriors going solo:

Apart from the inevitable Lag Monster/Client Crash, which there is nothing you can do to prevent a certain death
!!!Just Don't Die!!! hehehehe
Well that my 2 cents

Peace be with thee
