The man gives a small smile, though the expression is still concealed for the most part within the darkness of his hood's shadows. It still could be seen though, if one looked hard enough. He is silent a moment before answering.

"A penny for my thoughts? I've never been paid for my thoughts before, but I'll tell a few, penny or no."

He pauses, considering exactly how to say what was on his mind.

"Like I said back there at the forest, I don't really expect you to tell me anything about yourself. All my thoughts now are questions, as you've probably already guessed. Questions mostly about that thing that was coming. Questions like, How long until it strikes? Why is it coming here, and how did you come to know of it. Things like that."

He pauses once more before going on.

"Although I wish to know the answers, it's your choice to give them or not. You asked me for me thoughts, I gave them. Satisfied?" He leans back in his chair.
