Most philosophies will identify three kinds of information gathering: reason, experience, and mysticism. The first being the analyzing of ideas by ideas yielding new ideas, the second being the analyzing of experiences by experiences and yielding new ideas, and the third being the imparting of new ideas beyond analyzing needs. Some disagree that the first yields anything truly new, that the second yields the unreliable, and the third being fiction. What do you think?
