I take it, then (as I'm not a mathemetician) that you are referring to the number 1 and the number 0, then. Now, if I remember my days in Cal 3 sophomore year, I recall that 0 is not infinity--therefore, my statement has nothing to do with it. Past that, the number 1 may be a subset of infinity, but even then, you're taking an account of something with parts. No number exists without its sum (I think that's the phrasing, but I'll double check my book, later)... certainly Algebra agrees with that. 2 is 1 + 1, and 1 has parts (an infinite number of them, of course).
Now, if you didn't mean (0,1) as an interval, nor each number by themselves... what do you mean by {1,0}?
