Today we at Slave Labor got hit with the Nimda virus. I am not sure how it got past us because our policy is not to open e-mail with attachments..

At any rate, the virus went into our outlook e-mail program and sent an e-mail to everyone who sent mail to us over the past couple of months. Whatever subject header you sent us is the subject of the mail sent out (hence the mail above re; Urgent Problem.)

Somebody out there has been waging some kind of electronic war aginast us since last summer. They got us once with a virus that wiped out our customer databases. We get a pretty steady stream of viruses of one kind or another. Now they got us again. We are very careful about e-mail and attachments, like I said I have no idea how this one came in. although logic dictates that it came in an e-mail to us.

So, my apologies if this caused a problem. We are not in the business of sending out viruses, this has really caused a problem for us and we will do our best tp make sure it does not happen again.
