Subject: Inspiration for pseudo nym

Since you are writing a poem for your class tomorrow, I thought I would take the liberty of sharing this one with you. My boyfriend re-wrote Byron's, "She Walks in Beauty". After the hack job he did on this, I'm thinking a butcher would be an appropriate profession for him, rather than writing. Allow me to share.

Entitled: "She's a Hottie, Spiteful Wench" (with deep apologies to his Lordship)

She walks in beauty, like the night
Of desert breeze and cloudless skies
And all that's best of mirthful delight
Meet her in carriage and her eyes
Thus imbued with that jaded might
Which life to the lemmings does deny

One word more cutting, another tone unimpressed
Had by halves reduced the slithy toves
Which gave gire about her claret tress
Or cling nigh to her indie clothes;
Where thoughts violently crass express
How purely black their harsh abode

And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So contemptuous, so filled with antipathy,
The sneers that win, the barbs that throw
But tell of days spent contemplatively
A mind that loathes most all below
A shrew made more beautiful with misanthropy!

Maybe stand-up medival comedian would do the trick as well.
;)
