Subject: Hepfesters, Do You Remember

a couple of months ago, I spoke to the organizers of the Blue Grass Festival and asked if we could have an HCV awareness and education booth at the festival? And they turned us down saying that isn't the message they wanted to give their audience. Weeelllll, never say never, cause I spoke to the Director of the HillsCreek State Parks today and he thinks our message is an important one. He is going to speak to them and encourage them to change their minds. He doesn't make any promises though. Hopefully we will get a "Yes". I also spoke to two local radio stations and we are getting information on both advertising and/or PSA's. I'll keep ya all informed.

The Sherwood Motel still has some rooms set aside for HCA (Hepatitis C Association) and will only hold them till June 1st...that used to seem like a long time off, but now it's only a few more weeks!!!!!!!!!

If you are pretty sure you can make it, please book ahead--you can cancel up to the same day, I'm told. Make sure you say you're with HCA, please!

I get bored very easily and I'm always lookin for something to do. If I look hard enough I come up with some hare-brained things and once in a blue moon they work. Fingers are crossesd on this one. And the only reason I rock is that I have you guys who are the "boulders at my back".
