I don't know what i would do without my dog - i can't even imagine it. I'm a real animal lover so this breaks my heart. I have a story for you though - just this week i took my poodle to the groomers - she had a little female poodle named Niki who looked just like MY little guy. When i asked how Niki was, the groomer told me she had died - i was only there a month ago and was playing with her......i started getting teary-eyed. And THEN in walks this cat - my groomer told me that the day Niki died, this cat showed up at her door and wouldn't leave. She is convinced that the cat is Niki's spirit in a different body and she came back home. So keep your eye out for stray cats or dogs at your door - maybe Lucky will come home too. Hugs....

Just last December I lost my 24 year old female tabby cat, I mentioned in previous msg that I have 4 left; I was totally unconsolable and about to start tx in 2 months just after having my biopsy when this happened. I was told about the RainbowBridge.Com site at work and went there for emotional healing as well as entering her name where they still have her name posted and every Monday they have a candlelight ceremony. Her name is Pepper and I believe God took her so that she could be an angel watching over me during this hard time while leaving me with 4 other fur-devils. I don't know much but what little I do will be gladly given.

When I lost my dog sugar I never felt so very very alone, but that same month I became pregnant with my daughter . I beleve so very very much god was prepairing my life for an even greater love , beleve it or not I beleve the spirit of my dog lives in the child I gave birth to . Im so sorry about your kitty , cats are so diffrent , each one unique and loving in there own special ways , he will live on in your heart ,I hope you will find comfort in that knowledge.

As if you didn't have enough to deal with already. I am so sorry to hear about you loved one. That is what they are to me. Family, friend, confidant, and love. I currently have four dogs and of course they aren't getting any younger.

Several years ago my son had a cat named Tiger, we called him Kitty Boy, as well as many other pet names. He too was killed by a car and I believe that it affected me worse than my son. It is just the way life goes. One never forgets the unconditional love that a pet gives. We all could learn much about life if only we were able to show that type of love to our fellows. AGAPE love is what it is called.

Prayers for you are in the works, and may your hardship be quick to resolve.

I am so very sorry about your loss. I am a cat parent also. I have so many I am embarassed to fess up. I had a special cat who was very old that died 2 years ago, I still cry over her. But a youngster came to me last year and I am half convinced that it is her in his body.

Donna, somewhere there is a cat who needs you and is trying to make its way to you. I am convinced that is how it works.

There is nothing like the love from a pet or many pets. Go to the Rainbow Bridge site, you will like it.
