I have also had experience with both of the medications that you speak of. I was on 90.mg's of Meahtdone for almost five years. No problem for the liver from all that I have read. Most of the individuals at the clinic where I dosed had Hep C, or A, or B, or a combination of the afrementioned.

As for the Prozac, it was one of the anti-D's that worked well for me. Not sure if it is more injurious to the liver than say Celexa, or one of the many other anti depressants.

I am also not a DR, but it would not be a bad idea to check it all out. Look them up on the net. Many good sources there. Yes, the DR's are human and many times their judgement is less than objective. As with any medication the benefits should always outweigh the risks. Good medical practice dictates that.

Hope that you overcome this current problem, and that you be blessed in the upcoming months.

AGAPE.

Respectfully:
William
